A tragedy at Golden Glory
gAs you all know, Golden Glory is becoming an international chain of gyms like Golds. One of those gyms is Golden Glory Romania. Semmy Schilt had been training at this gym in preparation for the World Grand Prix, in order to keep him away from other Golden Glory fighters to ensure a serious and hard fight if any teammates should meet in the tournament.h
gWhile he was training on that Thursday, one of his fans turned up to train along side his hero. Vitalii Mitu had joined the gym 8 months earlier, with the hopes of becoming a famous fighter himself.h gThe 18 year old youth collapsed in the gym, and despite efforts by gym staff and medical officials to revive him, he passed away. An official autopsy was performed, and it was deemed that he died of cardio-respiratory arrest brought on by an acute viral pneumonia that turned into pulmonary edema.h
gThis is a very difficult time for Vitaliifs family, as well as the fighters and the entire Golden Glory team. We should be celebrating that we have some many fighters successfully qualifying for, and fighting in this WGP, but we are morning the loss of a team mate. We dedicate all our victories to Vitalii and his family, and would like to take this chance to once again pass on our condolences to his family and friends.h
