Yoshihiro Sato
-- Tell us about the match.
Sato : Each of Kido's punches had impact.
-- Did you plan to punch it out?
Sato : I planned to go from punches to kicks. I wasn't planning to get punched though. I couldn't find a way in.
-- Did you see his punches?
Sato : I saw them, but I often end up taking lefts. I'm clumsy that way.
-- Did his punch throw your rhythm off?
Sato : My master told me that that was what I had to do.
-- Does this win bring you closer to a fight with Masato?
Sato : If he asks for me, then I'll happily accept. Since my rhythm was off, it messed up my clock. I've got to get it moving again. Can I say something? Takeda-san has been really good to me and introduced me to some good supplements. I'm sorry I couldn't fight him. I want to be a sexy fighter like he is.

Yasuhiro Kido
-- Why did you lose?
Kido : There was a down, but mostly I noticed a difference in experience.
We both downed each other, and the damage was about even. Then it was a race between who would get hit first and I lost.
-- How's the damage?
Kido : I don't have that much. In the end I got it in the face. I knew he'd be low kicking. But I hurt my own shin by kicking.
-- What was the difference between you and Sato?
Kido : In the first round, things went according to plan. And things were going good until I downed him in the second round. If I said, I didn't feel a difference in skill, I'd be lying. He is strong.
Sato is a world-class fighter and I was able to knock him down. That means that my training was effective. Even though I lost, I have to be happy about that.
-- You used low kicks more than before.
Kido : The power training helped. At the end of the first round, I wasn't even tired.
That's because of the training. I felt that my kicks were more powerful than before.
I was able to get my left hooks in, so that was good. I practiced my jabs a lot.
What did the crowd think, I wonder? Did they have a good time?
I'm a pro, so that's what I want. In the ring, Sato said he considered me a rival so I'll do my best to be stronger than him. i won't lose next time.I know I can become even stronger. Even though I lost, I feel more confident.
